At Southeast Christian Church we proclaim our mission to be: To love God, to love people and to impact the world. The mission of His Allies focuses on loving people and impacting the world, starting right here in the Parker community. This is accomplished by the mighty power of God working through hundreds of Southeast members who are willing to live out their love for Him. Due to the incredible success of the Community Impact Projects conducted by Southeast over the last two years, His Allies in the Community was created to continue serving the Parker community on a year-round basis through a variety of service opportunities.
His Allies is involved in a variety of other activities each month. We are always looking for new ideas relating to how we can connect even more effectively with the Parker community. A great way for friends, family and small groups to serve together, His Allies is open to anyone who has a heart to serve the community with their hands as well as their heart. To serve with the team or if you are in need of assistance from the team, please email us at hisallies@gmail.com. Also, please check our display on the large wall in the Lobby across from the restrooms. You can also follow us on Facebook at 'His Allies in the Community'. Since January 2009 Southeast has established a wonderful partnership with the senior homes of Castle Country Assisted Living. When it started, 10 Southeast members visited an assisted living home called Victorian House in Parker. Now that vision has caught on, and there are currently groups visiting Victorian House here in Parker and Valley House in Castle Rock. The heart of the ministry is to unite members of our church family with seniors to fulfill their lives through Christian fellowship. Volunteers bring snacks, get games going, and strike up conversations. Holidays also provide opportunities to do something special for the residents. It is a great outreach to bring your young children or your small group along. We've even heard the residents love it when you bring your pets! If you are interested in serving we would love to hear from you.
Victorian House, in the heart of Parker one block north of Main Street, is a home to twenty-four wonderful souls who enjoy the relationships the volunteers bring in conversation, laughter and love. Join the original group of volunteers to catch the vision and see how their love for these seniors is infectious! Date/Time: Saturdays from 9:30 - 11:00am & Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:30pm
Location: 19600 Victorian Drive, Parker 80134

Valley House, adjacent to open space in Castle Rock with beautiful gardens and walking paths, is home to twenty-two lovely seniors who enjoy reminiscing with music, photos and conversation. Join the group, love on some of these seniors and find that you yourself are the one being changed! Date/Time: Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:30pm
Location: 255 S. Valley Drive, Castle Rock 80104
Have you wondered how you can make a difference or serve in a way that impacts the lives of single mothers in our community? This ministry offers opportunities to help in meaningful ways. You may purchase books or childcare cards for moms who need that financial assistance to help them attend a Bible study or class. Or, you could help provide meals, pray for moms at monthly meetings, assist with special events for Single Moms, donate new or gently used books to the Single Moms library or help distribute information about this ministry to single moms at church and community events. If you have a heart to serve the single moms in our community, contact Carrie to get involved!

Did you play a sport growing up? Do you love working with kids? Perhaps God is calling you to serve with Upward Sports! Upward Sports is a first-class sports experience that emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship, skills building and fun versus the “win-at-all-costs” mentality found in many children sports leagues.
Here at Southeast we recognize that sports are a great venue to reach children and youth with the love of Jesus. We currently partner with Upward in offering winter basketball, spring soccer and fall flag football to children in the community, and we need help to make these ministries happen! The following are volunteer positions and the small time commitments involved:

Referee: 2-3 hours a weekend
Prayer Partner: 5 minutes a day

We need those with strong backs and willing hearts who can do the heavy lifting, others with administrative skills and still others who are willing to clean and prepare all of the items we receive. If you are interested in serving with this ministry, have something to donate or are in need yourself, please contact us directly for more information.
