His Allies
Description: If you have a heart to serve, this is where you need to be. The Men’s Ministry has painted a church, painted a home for neglected children, moved single moms, and more. But there is much more we can do.  The men of His Allies are included in email requests for different serving engagements in the surrounding community.  Those who respond, and can attend, work together as a team to bless those who both are members of Southeast and non-members as well.  If you would like to be included in these opportunities please contact us.

Seniors' Ministry
Description: Since January 2009 Southeast has established a wonderful partnership with the senior homes of Castle Country Assisted Living. When it started, 10 Southeast members visited an assisted living home called Victorian House in Parker. Now that vision has caught on, and there are currently groups visiting Victorian House here in Parker and Valley House in Castle Rock. The heart of the ministry is to unite members of our church family with seniors to fulfill their lives through Christian fellowship. Volunteers bring snacks, get games going, and strike up conversations. Holidays also provide opportunities to do something special for the residents. It is a great outreach to bring your young children or  your small group along. We've even heard the residents love it when you bring your pets!  If you are interested in serving we would love to hear from you.

Victorian House
Victorian House, in the heart of Parker one block north of Main Street, is a home to twenty-four wonderful souls who enjoy the relationships the volunteers bring in conversation, laughter and love. Join the original group of volunteers to catch the vision and see how their love for these seniors is infectious!

Warehouse Ministry
Description: Southeast has launched a warehouse ministry where we collect furniture and appliances to deliver to those in need.  Although this is a highly enjoyable ministry it is also very labor intensive.  As you can imagine there is a lot of lifting involved.  However, this is a great ministry for couples or small groups to do together.  Currently, we are looking for drivers and manual labor to help with delivering and picking up furniture and appliances. We are also in need of donated items. If you are interested in serving, giving or are in need of an item, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us.

If you have something to donate or are in need of an item please call us at: 720-842-5620.

Neighborhood Impact Groups
Description: God has great plans on how He wants to use you and others at Southeast Christian Church to bless the surrounding community.  One way we are hoping to do that is to systematically reach out to the neighborhoods of Parker.  We are currently putting together neighborhood impact teams that will be responsible for helping to facilitate a number of differing outreaches which include, but are not limited to: maintenance service, hosting block parties, helping start up neighborhood block watches, food outreaches, and much more.  The harvest is plenty and we hope the culture of Southeast is that of plenty of workers as well.

Prison Ministry: STERLING PRISON VISION TRIPS
Description: If you knew of a church body that was absolutely thriving, that was having a huge impact on its' community, that was truly encouraging and uplifting to its' members and was full of people who genuinely are trying to figure out how to live out the calling of Christ on their lives, wouldn't you want to visit that church?

That church exists and can be found in the most unlikely of places. Sterling Prison is home to one of the most sincere and most dedicated body of believers that can be found anywhere. The inmates who make up this church body would love to fellowship and share their stories with you. In the month of May, Southeast in conjunction with Cherry Hills Community Church will be sending a team to Sterling Prison to fulfill our calling to visit our brothers in prison (Matthew 25:34-40).

Prison Ministry: HALFWAY HOUSE MINISTRY
Description: Southeast Christian has partnered with Cherry Hills Community Church to minister to those who are in the Halfway House system. This is often the last chance to reach someone before they hit the streets once again and fall back into the same destructive patterns. Currently we are hosting a Bible Study at a local halfway house that residents attend on a voluntary basis. No experience is necessary.

Whiz Kids Tutoring
Description: This organization pairs at-risk kids with caring adult volunteers who tutor and mentor them in the spirit of Christ. Whiz Kids is instrumental in providing extra literacy and math help to struggling students primarily in elementary school, but they are growing to include middle school students, as well.  Whiz Kids has 43 locations throughout the Denver Metro area with convenient times and days. Whiz Kids coordinates these one-on-one tutoring sessions for multiple pairs of volunteers and students at host sites - local churches or schools. Tutoring is 1.5 hours/week, and there is also a spiritual component where kids get the opportunity to hear the Gospel during the fun, interactive Club time. If you have a heart for youth and would consider tutoring a child, Whiz Kids Tutoring would love to hear from you.

Save Our Youth
Description: Save Our Youth transforms the lives of at-risk youth through mentor relationships providing the skills for success in educational, emotional, and spiritual development.  This outreach pairs mentors with kids that are requesting a mentor in their lives.  This desire for a mentor on the part of the kids involved is the reason their success rate is so much better than the national average.  There is a minimum of a year commitment involved in partnering with this ministry, so it is not to be entered lightly.  However, the impact of this ministry will be felt in your life and the child you serve for eternity.  If you want more information on this ministry please don’t hesitate to contact us.
