Every year, millions of children nationally are reported victims of abuse and neglect. Children are incredibly resilient and, with treatment, have a surprising capacity to overcome the obstacles that abuse puts in front of them. Truly, to walk a mile in the shoes of a child at Kempe would bring most of us to our knees.
The Kempe Foundation hosts several innovative programs that treat children from birth to age 18. Programs like training medical professionals and conducting research on treatment methods for severely maltreated children provides and leads to a much better quality of life for those affected and huge economic savings to society. Your contribution is a life saving investment in our children and community!

The race is on Sunday, April 25th – starting times will be:
8:00 am: 5K (3.1-Mile) Run Walk
8:20 am: 1/2-Mile Kids' Fun Run
8:55 am: 1-Mile Sprint
9:15 am: 5 Mile Run/Walk
