Getting Connected at Southeast
A word that you will often hear around Southeast is the word, "community."  Community is intentionally doing life with others in a meaningful and fulfilling way.  We place a high value on community here at Southeast.  It is our heart and vision that no one stands alone in his or her spiritual journey.

Why should I get involved in a Small Group?
A church can be a lonely place unless relationships are made with others.  Small groups within the church provide an environment where people can connect with others while pursuing spiritual transformation in their lives.  Small Groups are a way of "doing life together," sharing the joy and trials of life with others. God’s desire for us is to experience community with Him and with others.  God is love and He wants us to experience His love and share it in all of our relationships.  He has created, in each one of us, a longing to know others and be known by them.  As we join in community with others, we take part in God’s design and plan for our lives.

What can I expect at a Small Group meeting?
Small Groups exist primarily to develop relationships among group members as they grow in their relationship with Christ.  The Small Group meeting schedule is flexible and is up to each individual group. Most groups meet weekly for an hour and a half or two hours. Each meeting will typically consist of time spent sharing prayer requests, time spent discussing a Bible passage or lesson, and social time for getting to know others in the group.  Each Small Group is encouraged to schedule times for social gatherings and relationship building, such as sharing a dinner, game night or serving as a team.

ConnectingPoint

ConnectingPoint is the way to get connected in a small group at Southeast.  ConnectingPoint is a two hour event where you will meet and connect with others in your area and stage of life to start a small group.  Small groups are for adults of all ages and spiritual maturity.  Groups regularly meet in someone's house for fellowship, Bible study and prayer. For more information on ConnectingPoint, click here: ConnectingPoint
Pathway is a 13 week small group environment that gives participants an overview of the Bible and the Christian faith.  Through Pathway you will experience a non-threatening environment where you will not be forced to change or believe anything and it is a place to discuss any question or voice any opinion about God, the Bible or faith.  If you are not sure about God or the Bible and want a place to discuss spiritual issues, or if you have recently started a relationship with God, or are reconnecting with God after being away from the church for a while, Pathway is a great place where you can grow and connect. For more information on Pathway, click here: Pathway

Celebrate Recovery
Hurts, Habits and Hang-ups; we all have them. The Good News is Jesus came to “set the captive free and heal the broken-hearted,” Luke 4:18. Celebrate Recovery is a place where we can all come together and Celebrate God’s Healing Power in our lives. Using the eight recovery principles found in the Beatitudes, coupled with Christ-centered 12 steps, along with prayer to heal the broken-hearted and principles of spiritual warfare, lives are changed. Come Celebrate Freedom from hurts, hang-ups and habits through the power of the Holy Spirit and a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Join us every Tuesday night starting February 26, at 6:30 pm. For further information, please click here, stop by the Celebrate Recovery kiosk in the lobby, or call 303.841.9292, ext 136.
