ADULT BAPTISM AT SOUTHEAST
The baptism process at Southeast has been designed to be both simple and meaningful. Each step has been carefully planned with you in mind. After registering online, you will be contacted to schedule your baptism. Here are a few things to consider before registering:
1. When would you like to be baptized? We offer baptisms before, during, or after each of our weekend services. Please choose a date and a service time
2. Who would you like to choose to baptize you? You may request anyone on staff. We will contact that person to be sure he or she is available for the date you choose. Anyone who professes Christ as Savior and Lord and has been baptized by immersion after accepting Christ is qualified to baptize another. You may prefer to be baptized by a family member, friend, or spiritual mentor who has a relationship with Christ and has been baptized by immersion.
3. Before we schedule your baptism we will contact you to hear your story regarding your commitment to Jesus Christ and your desire to be baptized. It is always encouraging to hear what God is doing in lives!
Please contact
Libby Hellinger
with questions about baptism.
CHILD BAPTISM
At Southeast, children are encouraged to be baptized as soon as they accept Christ as Savior. Children must be mature enough to understand and decide for themselves to accept Christ’s sacrifice for them and follow him as Lord. A baptism class is offered for children and families who would like to consider baptism. Read more about child baptism
